We’re on the hunt for a Handyperson / Maintenance Officer to join our team, working across various job sites primarily in the Moreton Bay, Brisbane and Somerset Council regions. | What Duties Will I Perform/Be Involved With? | Gardening, Landscaping, Mowing, Cleaning, Painting, Plastering, Fencing and other duties as required. We do prefer our team to have previous experience such as plastering, painting, landscaping etc, however, this certainly is not a deal breaker and training can be provided. |
| What If I Don’t Have Those Skills? | Training can be provided as/is where required, we love training our team members to provide them with new experiences and new skills. |
| Do I Need A Vehicle? | Yes, some job sites are in locations that either public transport is not available or not available at the times you need. |
| Do I Need To Do Drug and Alcohol Screening? | Yes, due to the nature of our work and to ensure that our team are safe, Beyond the Blueprint conduct random drug and alcohol testing, this applies to all team members including administration and sales teams. All of our work sites are drug and alcohol free spaces. |
| What If I Have Limited Availability? Can I Still Apply | We encourage everyone to apply, we respect honesty and communication. If you communicate with us your availability, we can often work around your availability, for example, school runs, travel distances, medical reasons. |
| What If I Have A Medical Condition That Affects Me? | Mental Health and Physical Conditions can be debilitating and we understand this, individually and as a team. We will make all efforts to assist you to work within your boundaries. |
| What Do You Consider Reliability? | Reliability is turning up on time, every time. Being motivated to commence work when requested to do so. |
| Autonomy | We expect our team members to have the ability to think and make decisions on their feet, equally, we expect our team members to seek advice, assistance or support from the team if/when required. |
| Directions | You can understand and execute instructions accurately and efficiently. |
| OH&S | A strong understanding and commitment to Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) protocols is non-negotiable. Safety is paramount for yourself, your team, our clients and the public. |
| Strong Work Ethic | We need team members who are willing to put in the effort and contribute meaningfully, not just watch the ticking the clock. If you are watching the clock closer than your quality of work, then please do not apply. |
| Technology | This is an important one, we are not a social media company, so spending your working time on social media is not being a team player.
